Compute, IO, and safety — on one board

Hard real-time MCU with hardware root of trust
Cortex-class lockstep MCU pair runs the application; a dedicated HSM peripheral handles secure boot, key storage and signed firmware verification. Boot-to-CAN under 500 ms enables fail-operational behaviour on power glitches.
- AUTOSAR-classic abstraction for portable application code
- Lockstep CPU pair detects single-event upsets at hardware
- Secure storage for OEM-specific keys and provisioning data

24 digital + 12 analog inputs across the harness
Inputs are protected for the full ISO 7637 transient envelope. Outputs include high-side switches with current-sense feedback. Sensor inputs accept resistive, frequency, and ratiometric signals on the same channels via configuration.
- 2× CAN-FD + 2× LIN + 2× FlexRay safety bus channels
- 1× 1000BASE-T1 automotive Ethernet for HPC connection
- ISO 16750-3 vibration; –40 °C to +85 °C operating range

Developed with functional-safety artefacts in mind
The platform follows ISO 26262 ASIL-C process flow from item definition through release. Independent verification, fault-injection bench tests in our HIL cell, and signed release notes per OEM programme.
- AUTOSAR-classic abstraction with safety extensions
- HIL fault injection validates safe-state transitions
- Per-programme document baseline (HARA / FSC / TSC / TS)
Build your own VCU / ECU / CCU with Joulepoint as your engineering partner.
For vehicle OEMs and tier-1 manufacturers — we are your in-house engineering team for your vehicle programme. Co-engineered, certified, manufactured to your name. You own the IP, the brand and the customer relationship.
Your brand. Your form-factor.
Mechanical, label, firmware boot screen, OBD identification — branded to your platform. Joulepoint is the engineering, your customers see your name.
Co-engineered to your spec
We start with your system requirements (power class, voltage rails, comms, certifications). Our team works alongside yours from architecture to BOM freeze.
Source artefacts handed over
Schematics, BOM, firmware source, AUTOSAR module catalogue, ISO 26262 process documentation, EOL test scripts — all packaged for your manufacturing partner.
Long-term technology partnership
Roadmap alignment, regulatory tracking (AIS / IEC / UN-ECE), field-data driven iterations. We stay engaged after start of production.
Send a one-pager — power class, target vehicle, certifications, timeline. An engineer responds within one business day.
Same engineering. Your nameplate.
The reference design ships with Joulepoint branding. For OEM programmes we re-skin mechanicals, firmware boot screen, mobile app and packaging to your identity.
Ships under the Joulepoint name with our nameplate and firmware identity.
Same hardware platform, re-skinned to your brand. You own the IP, sales channel and support relationship.
What gets re-skinned
- Mechanical nameplate & label artwork
- Firmware boot screen & UI identity
- Companion mobile / driver app theming
- Packaging, EOL test labels, OBD VIN data
