Engineering the energy stack —silicon to API.
Joulepoint is an India-based deep-tech energy R&D company. We design power electronics, embedded firmware, charging networks and energy-intelligence platforms — built and deployed in India.

One engineering team.
Electrons to API.
Most energy companies stop at hardware or stop at software. We engineer the full stack — the silicon switching the current, the firmware controlling the silicon, and the cloud orchestrating thousands of them.
Power electronics
SiC/GaN converters, OBC, DC-DC, traction inverters — designed, prototyped and qualified to AIS / IEC / CISPR.
Embedded firmware
AUTOSAR-style stacks for VCU/ECU with HSM, secure boot, ISO 26262 ASIL-C workflows.
Charging platform
OCPP 1.6J / 2.0.1, OCPI 2.2.1, ISO 15118-20 PnC. Smart load, roaming, OCMF billing.
Energy intelligence
OCMF-signed telemetry, MQTT/WebSocket ingestion, MLOps for predictive operations.
Eight technology domains — one engineering team.
The energy transition cuts across power electronics, embedded software, and cloud operations. We work across all three because the hard problems live at the seams.
We build hardware where engineers can probe it.
Four working benches in Hyderabad. Real oscilloscopes, real DC sources, real EMC enclosures. Where the design rules meet the silicon, the firmware, and the field.

From design brief to field deployment — in five stages.
A typical Joulepoint engagement runs 22 weeks from kick-off to a pilot deployment. We compress timelines by running mechanical, electrical, firmware, and cloud in parallel — not in series.
- 01Week 0–2
Discovery & scoping
Engineer-to-engineer technical workshops. We map your duty cycles, voltage rails, certifications, and field constraints into a design brief — not a feature list.
- 02Week 2–6
Architecture & simulation
Topology selection, magnetics design, loss modelling and thermal envelopes. Charging protocol stack architecture, threat modelling, OT/IT boundary mapping.
- 03Week 6–14
Prototype build
Mechanical, PCB, firmware and cloud built in parallel. Bring-up in-house. Pre-compliance EMC done before ARAI / ICAT submission to avoid re-spins.
- 04Week 14–22
Pilot deployment
Live deployment with controlled telemetry. We co-locate engineers with operators for the first weeks. Field issues become test cases — not tickets.
- 05Week 22+
Hand-off & scale
Documented BOM, firmware release notes, deployment runbooks. Ongoing R&D engagement for next-gen iterations, regulatory tracking, and field analytics.
Electric bus depot — 150 buses, dispatch from 82% to 99%.
An Indian state transport corporation needed depot operations that wouldn't slip when 150 electric buses arrived. We engineered the charging architecture, the energy buffer, and the operator-facing software end-to-end.

Electric Bus Depot Transformation
From silicon to API — shipping.
Hardware platforms qualified to Indian and international standards. Software products live in production. All built by the same engineering team — so the seams between them just work.
